First time taking pictures of surfers in Boise, Idaho

Boise has what’s called a Greenbelt. It’s a pedestrian and cycle pathway that runs along both sides of the Boise River. The Greenbelt cuts across much of Boise, which makes it possible to transit from one side of town to another with comparatively little surface street exposure. I often ride a bicycle to work like a lot of other Boise folk, and it takes me 32 minutes if I take the Greenbelt on bike, versus 40 minutes in my truck on surface streets. For years I’d passed the surfers at Whitewater Park, thinking about photographing them one day. Well, today I did. I only took a few pictures, but the results convinced me that there was enough composition here to keep coming back.
