A walk through Whitewater Park in Boise, Idaho

Took a walk through Whitewater Park. The lakes freeze over in the winter here in Boise, and on really cold days you could walk across quite a bit of the water. If you don’t live in areas that get snow every winter, you won’t quite get this weird phenomenon, but, when it snows, and after it snows, it gets really quiet. It’s hard to explain it unless you experience it, but the sounds of the traffic and the city and just the vibration of everything, stops. Also, there seems to be some kind of energy that comes off the river that pulls people together and grounds people. Anyway, here’s a few pictures of my walk.
